Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 01:29AM Our regular rehearsal for Jungle Book will take place on Thursday 10/4 from 6 - 8:00 pm at th Avalon Elementary Auditorium.
Bring your script, a pencil, a folder, a water bottle (plain, non-flavored water ONLY!) and a bag to keep your belongings together. Remember to wear clothes suitable for rehearsal and dancing. NO flip flops or sandals.
The cast list will NOT be announced on 10/4. More details on Thursday!
Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 08:58PM In order to be considered for a lead or supporting role, a student will need to sing and read individually for Mrs. Klicker. THESE SESSIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED to be a cast member in the ensemble.
Students wishing to be considered for a lead or supporting role MUST come to ONE of the two possible after school sessions.
STUDENTS MAY COME TO EITHER SCHOOL ON EITHER DAY.

On these days we will warm-up together and review the materials for singing and reading from 3 – 3:15 pm. We will start with fourth graders, then fifth, and finally sixth graders will have a turn to sing and read with Mrs. Klicker. (Please bring a book to read, homework, or other quiet activity to do while waiting for your turn – NO ELECTRONICS!)
Students will be DISMISSED after they have had a turn to sing and read individually.
(Students will be allowed to use a cell phone to call or text when they are finished.)
Please note that ALL students MUST be picked up no later than 4:30 pm. (Or have a note signed by parent/guardian that they may walk home when finished.)
Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 10:18PM Rehearsal begins Thursday evening at Avalon Elementary Auditorium at 6:00 pm with a combined meeting for students and parents from 7:45 - 8:00 pm.
Special Information for COACHES: Middle School and High School students wishing to serve as coaches must pick up a permission slip in the High School Office. The permission slip can also be downloaded from the this web site, see the high school links to your right. You must bring a completed permission slip, signed by a parent or guardian to participate as a coach. Coaches should report by 5:45 pm and plan to stay until 8:30 pm.

Our first coaches only meeting has been tentatively scheduled for Monday, September 17 at Avalon Elementary from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Sign-up sheet and permission forms will soon be in the MS/HS Office. Listen for the announcement.
Elementary Drama student rehearsals will typically be on THURSDAY EVENINGS beginning Thursday, September 20 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Flyers and permission slips will be coming home soon and will be posted here also.
